WEST BENGAL GOVERNMENT JOBS

1. WBCS

Welcome to the West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) Examination 2026, conducted by WBPSC for Group A, B, C, and D posts. The exam consists of Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages. Notification is expected in April 2026. Candidates must be Graduate with age between 21 to 36 years.


2. WBPSC Clerkship

The WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2026 is for Clerk posts in various government departments. The exam is scheduled for September 2026 and includes a Typing Test. Eligible candidates must be Graduate from a recognized university.


3. WB Miscellaneous

The WBPSC Miscellaneous Services 2026 recruits for Group C posts across departments. Selection includes Prelims, Mains, and a 100-mark Interview. Candidates must be Graduate with age as per government norms.


4. WB TET

The West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 is for Primary Teacher posts (Classes I-V). Required qualification is HSC with D.El.Ed. The qualifying marks are 60% and there is no negative marking in this exam.


5. WBSSC SLST

The WBSSC SLST 2026 recruits Assistant Teachers for Classes IX to XII. With 35,726 vacancies announced, eligible candidates must be Graduate with B.Ed. Posts are available for both Secondary and Higher Secondary levels.


6. WBSSC Group C

The WBSSC Group C Examination 2026 is for Clerk (Non-Teaching Staff) posts. The exam is scheduled for 1st March 2026 with 2989 vacancies. Candidates must be Graduate from a recognized university.


7. WBSSC Group D

The WBSSC Group D Examination 2026 recruits for Peon, Lab Attendant, and Support Staff. The exam is expected in January 2027 with 5488 vacancies. Minimum qualification is Class 10 pass.


8. WB Police Constable

The WB Police Constable 2026 recruitment is for Constable and Lady Constable posts. Candidates must be 10+2 pass with physical standards: 167cm height for male, and must qualify 800m run. Age limit is 18 to 27 years.


9. WB Police SI

The WB Police Sub-Inspector 2026 exam recruits SI and Sub-Inspectress. Required qualification is Graduate with physical standards: 167cm height for male, 155cm for female, and 800m run in 3 minutes. Age limit is 20 to 27 years.


10. Food SI
