📖 PART 5: IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Negative Marking
Applicable for all MCQ papers (Preliminary + Main MCQ papers)
Each wrong answer deducts marks
2. Identity Disclosure Penalty
10% deduction of full marks if candidate writes name, roll number or identifying marks in answer script
3. Language Rules
Answers in one paper must be in only one language
Sanskrit: Devanagari or Bengali script
Hindi/Nepali: Devanagari script
Bengali/Arabic/Persian/Urdu: Respective scripts
Santali: Olchiki script only
4. Qualifying Marks
Commission has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any paper/subject
If candidate fails to secure qualifying marks in a paper, those marks are not considered in aggregate
