📖 PART 5: IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Negative Marking

  • Applicable for all MCQ papers (Preliminary + Main MCQ papers)
  • Each wrong answer deducts marks

2. Identity Disclosure Penalty

  • 10% deduction of full marks if candidate writes name, roll number or identifying marks in answer script

3. Language Rules

  • Answers in one paper must be in only one language
  • Sanskrit: Devanagari or Bengali script
  • Hindi/Nepali: Devanagari script
  • Bengali/Arabic/Persian/Urdu: Respective scripts
  • Santali: Olchiki script only

4. Qualifying Marks

  • Commission has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any paper/subject
  • If candidate fails to secure qualifying marks in a paper, those marks are not considered in aggregate
